the current version of DPP supports all EOS camera made up to this date. As far as I know all updates are backwards compatible, e.g. I think what Rob meant was that all current Canon software is compatible with all Canon cameras. ![]() Oh - and not only did I read the original post properly, but - unlike you - I'm not jumping to conclusions about whether or not James is using DPP to edit RAW files: and I have no idea what gives you the idea that you're in a position to have an opinion on that. If the version of EOS Utility James has on disk predates the 400D, what reason is there to think it will work? Which is just plain wrong, especially as "the software to download photos" that Canon now provides is DPP if James wants something that will work with the 100D and the 400D (which he clearly does) - unless he's able to track down a copy of the ancient EOS Utility 2.4 (that works with his OS) from somewhere. ![]() Rob, you seem to have a short and selective memory.Īll Canon software is perfectly compatible with all Canon cameras
